Built from the ground up by Poker Players for Poker Players. Holdem Manager 3 revolutionizes poker tracking software like never before. You'll be in the game faster and post session analysis will be more efficient than ever.
Since there is no database software to install with Holdem Manager 3 the installation process is very simple. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you use the default settings (Express Install), when installing Holdem Manager 3.
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND using the Express Install option on the following screen. The Advanced Install looks tempting for previous Holdem Manager users, but we can easily do everything the Advanced Install does directly in the Holdem Manager 3 software after installation.
Using the express install will get you up and running inside of Holdem Manager 3 the quickest.
Clicking Yes here will allow Holdem Manager 3 to search your computer for poker site hand history files. HM3 searches for Auto Import hand history folders during this process. CLICK YES

Configure Poker Sites
The left side of this screen (NEW SITES) lists out all the Poker Sites Holdem Manager 3 detected on your computer in the previous setup step. On the right side of this screen is (MORE SITES) and this shows other poker sites Holdem Manager 3 supports, but you don't have installed.
Poker Site Setup Wizard
Now we need to go through all the poker sites we play on and make sure Auto Import Folders are setup. Auto Import folders are folders where your poker site saves hand history files. Hand history files must be setup correctly for Holdem Manager 3 to auto import hands allowing a HUD to be displayed on live tables.
If Auto Import Folders are not displayed, click Auto Detect or Add to add the poker site Auto Import Folders.
Click Next when Auto Import Folders are setup for the highlighted poker site. (Party Poker in the screen below)
Setup Preferred Seating
Preferred Seating allows your HUD to be displayed next to the correct player when opening tables.
Use this drop-down to select Specific Seat, Auto Center or Use Hand History Seat. The poker site you are setting up will use one of those options. For the screen below (Party Poker) Party Poker uses the "Specific Seat" option.
If Specific Seat is the option for your poker site, use this drop-down to select how many players are seated at the table.
Auto Center and Use Hand History Seat will not display this drop-down because you don't need to pick a seat with Auto Center or Use Hand History Seat.
Click one of the seats to set it as your preferred seat. This is the same seat that you must setup in your poker software.
Detailed instructions for Preferred Seating by poker site. (Click Here)
Once Preferred Seating is setup, click Next.
Holdem Manager 3 is now completely installed and setup. You can start playing on your preferred poker site now and as long as Hand History Folders and Preferred Seating were setup correctly, your HUD will be displayed next to the correct player.

Holdem Manager 3 Poker stars Cashout support requires a database upgrade that will be automatically done when opening a database. After that is done, cashout hand histories can be imported and results tracked in the reports.
If you would like to import the missing cashout hand histories, you can import them from your HM3 or HM2 Archive folders. (Default location: C:\HM3Archive\PokerStars\2019\09 for hands from September 2019)
If you have HM3 installed but have not yet updated to version 184.108.40.206036 you can download it here.

The Replayer is not changed when viewing the actions in the hand. An additional Replayer step has been added at the end of the hand which details cashout related information in text form.
Two cashout specific filters are available using the filter bar:
To see hands where cashout occured (by any player in the hand), use this filter: "isCashout=true"
To see hands where you have cashed out yourself, filter for hands with cashout amounts above 0: "CashoutAmount>0"
New stats have been added to view cashout related winnings:

Zip/Attach a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue*
*All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31). It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.
*When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then click 'Share' > 'Create Link' > Copy Link' and right-click > 'Paste' the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using filedropper.com or google drive.
Hold the Control Key (CTRL) and Left Mouse Button while dragging the HUD components to the new location.
Click the HM3 Table HUD Icon at the top of the table and select Unlock Layout. (See Screen Below) This will let you move HUD elements without holding the Control Key (CTRL). Just left mouse click and move the HUD elements this way.
Once individual HUD elements are positioned how you want them, you will want to click the HM3 Table HUD icon and Save Layout or Lock & Save Layout. (See Below)
Adjust Mucked Card Positions:
Use the HM3 Table HUD icon to enable "Configure Mucked Cards". (See screen above, Configure Mucked Cards is two positions below the orange highlighted options.)
The Omaha Hand Filters allow you to filter for every Omaha hand imaginable. Use this FAQ as reference when creating Custom Omaha Filters. Start by using the clickable checkbox parameters, then move onto more complex custom hand filters that are detailed below.
Custom Omaha Filtering
Use the "Custom" field in the Omaha Hand Filter to build complex custom Omaha Hand Filters.
In the initial release version, the following stats were added:
Net Won / Hr
Net Won Game / Hr
All-In Adj / Hr
All-In Adj Game / Hr
Hourly stats are most accurate in session reports where hands are grouped together into sessions.
Because hands durations are not saved in hand histories, HM3 uses 1 minute time periods per hand to determine the actual time played for any group of hands to calculate the hourly win rates in any report, even when session duration is not available.
*A new 'Minutes Played' stat was added to see the time played, which is used for hourly win rate stats. This shows the actual time played and not just the time difference between the first and last hand of the session. If you take a 5 minute break during a session, 'Minutes Played' will be shorter than 'Session Duration' and will affect your hourly win rate.
Note: The 'Stat Picker' menus have detailed definitions of each stat. The Reports stats picker shows them directly under the stat name, the HUD stats picker shows them in a tooltip window if you hover over the stat name in the stat picker.
